I am 60 years old. I have two children. Sarah, 23 and Michael, 20. I have seen them twice since they were 5 years old. My wife kidnapped them when I was living in Michigan in 1985.

The other day I get a summons from the state of Michigan says I am $37000.00 behind in child support. So they put a support order of $198.00 a week on my pay check, which now leaves me $100.00 a week to live on and support three minor children.

My credit is ruined, I lost two jobs over this. I lost a 2000 Mustang and a 2000 Windstar which I had to turn in because I could not pay for them. I have had two heart attacks and can only work low paying jobs.

Why did Michigan wait 20 years before trying to enforce this? Simple they want interest. I actually owe only 6000.00 to my ex. But I can not pay this directly because Michigan takes the biggest cut first. First they told me I was $21000.00 behind. After I paid on it for a year they tell me it is now $37000.00. Plus my children were deprieved of a Father because Mama brain washed them.

Where are my rights? In Michigan there are none . Bob Baker
