I love my son and want to support him. I want to give him everything I can. I am not a deadbeat, but the current child support laws treat me as though I am. Whenever someone speaks out against the unfair, completely unreasonable wealth transfer that is child support they are immediately labeled a deadbeat. Dissention is not allowed, all dissenters are painted with the same brush. I believe Child support to no longer be "for the children" but about the child support industry, it is a replacement for the welfare system which punishes fathers to make money for the states. It is time that income of either parent be taken completely out of the equation and that an accurate assessment of the actual real cost to raise the child be determined and that both parents are responsible to fulfill that amount equally. It's time we changed these laws, the fathers who are victims of the child support laws want, no need change, and it's the only right thing to do.
